Destination weddings in South Carolina
If you’ve been part of planning destination weddings in South Carolina, you certainly have included Charleston on your list. Not only is
it one of the most beautiful cities in the country, but Charleston has become a favorite tourism destination as well for all types of cultural,
historical and recreational reasons. I know after our wedding in Charleston, one of the things we heard from out out-of-town guests was how
much fun they had visiting the city and what a great place it was for a wedding. That’s why planning destination weddings in South
Carolina have to include Charleston on the list.
Bridal couples all over the country agree, which is why destination weddings in South Carolina often means having a wedding in
Charleston. The city is blessed with so many great locations for weddings, wedding receptions and bridal celebrations of all
sorts. Also, the guests who travel from out-of-town have a long list of things to see and do no matter what interests them. There are
world-class golf and tennis facilities conveniently located all around the area. Boating enthusiasts can choose from sailing to kayaking to
canoeing, and the waterways are picturesque and unspoiled. Our beaches are much less commercialized than other locations in South Carolina,
with all of them offering beach rental property to fit every budget.
From a historical perspective, one of the things we did was create a list of things to see and do in the downtown area that were all within
easy walking distance. Of course, that is not required since your guests can just visit the Preservation Society of the Historical Society
and have them ask for help. One of the best things about Charleston is just getting lost and wandering aimlessly. You’ll see all
sorts of things that are unique to the area and a map is not required!
If you are a wedding planner and have couples who want destination weddings in South Carolina, then be sure to take a careful look at everything
Charleston offers. Your clients will be happy that you did!
