Charleston Corporate Event Planner

I’ve been in and out of Charleston for over 20 years, and have been a number of times for corporate events of various kinds as well.  That doesn’t make me a native Charlestonian by any stretch, but it does mean I’ve experience a number of different events in the area.  It was not until last year that I met a Charleston corporate event planner that I thought offered the entire package that a corporate marketing person needs in order to implement a memorable event with ease.  That’s when I met Sha Sha Harnik, the owner of Distinctive Events.

It’s not that I haven’t worked with a Charleston corporate event planner before, it’s just that I’ve not met someone like Sha Sha who understands that event design has to be creative and practical.  A Charleston corporate event planner I used for an event in the past gave me a wonderful design that my budget could not afford, and had a difficult time understanding why not.  Another Charleston corporate event planner I used for another event knew exactly how to meet the budget, but didn’t really give me a lot of bang for the buck. 

Sha Sha offers a refreshing perspective in that she understands how to create magic and achieve all the goals, which includes hitting the bottom line.  She understands that design has to be functional as well as spectacular.  Sha Sha helped me with a major gala affair, one that involved all the important movers and shakers in Charleston.  She and her team transformed a dull and lifeless space into a wonderland filled with decorative elements that all worked together beautifully.  Although I am not a designer, I do work with a lot of designers and understand what it takes to get things done.  The minute I entered the room, I could tell how much effort went into the event design.  I’d say I certainly got my money’s worth!
