Sha Sha Harnik – Owner, Lead Event Designer

For the past fourteen years, Sha Sha has produced important events for a diverse range of clients, including Fortune 500 corporations, non-profit organizations, and top-level social events. With clear vision and focus, Ms. Harnik directs the business operations and is the lead contact and designer for all major events contracted by the company. Sha Sha’s experience and expertise are in designing and producing the most exquisite events that require attention to detail for discerning clients who value quality, creativity, and commitment to the highest standards and values of corporate, social and destination events.

Tiffany Snyder – Lead Wedding Coordinator & Event Planner

An integral part of Distinctive Events success since 2001, Tiffany enjoys every aspect of the planning process of events. Her areas of expertise include: full-service wedding planning, consulting and coordination, and creation of computerized event renderings. Tiffany draws upon a wealth of knowledge and hands-on practical experience in the event industry. Her ability to perfectly match Charleston’s unique locations, venues, and vendors with her individual client’s needs is her forte.

Leesa Phipps – Lead Floral Designer

A native of Galax, Virginia, Leesa’s background as a floral designer includes over forty years of experience in the design field. Her unique talents includes a full spectrum of floral design abilities ranging from Modern Contemporary to Classic European, from romantic Victorian table settings to whimsical beach weddings, unique theme parties, and special occasions for celebration. Leesa’s particular area of expertise is in her attention to the special details, notes, amenities, mementos and memorabilia that add an unforgettable heirloom quality to each wedding, and bring just the right note of perfection to social, corporate and charitable events.

Cory Winn – Wedding & Event Coordinator

A new essence to the Distinctive Events team, Cory brings a fusion of corporate planning through her experience with Conference Services at The Sanctuary Hotel, along with years of wedding coordination and management at the Property Owners Club on Kiawah Island.  Her passion for event coordination and design are evident through her vigor and energy, which bring a fresh spark to the company.  She has a vivid desire to plan and execute beautiful events through utilizing innovative ideas, all the while nurturing the client with grace and poise.  Cory is a native of Charlottesville, VA but moved to Charleston after graduating from Elon University in 05’ and immediately fell in love with the lowcountry.

Christopher Durand - Event Manager

With a background in large scale events as the Audio/Visual Director of the North Charleston Convention Center Christopher brings to Distinctive Events a rich knowledge of corporate events and specialty lighting techniques.  Raised on the Isle of Palms and educated in the Rocky Mountains at Colorado State University, Christopher combines his deep understanding of Charleston history and culture with affection for natural beauty and aesthetics.  With an eye for detail Christopher has the ability to plan, create, and execute a flawless event by bringing people and ideas together.  Organizationally he manages Distinctive Event's extensive specialty rental inventory while overseeing rental orders and coordinating many pre-production projects.  Christopher demonstrates the many facets that make up a true event designer.
